Canadian, cruelty-free, very transparent in costs and formula. They are very often reformulating their formulas too, to keep up with current technologies. Everything I have tried from them so far has been excellent.
‘Deep Hydration and Moisture Boosting Facial Serum’
Who can use it:
Anyone, most skins are dehydrated and would benefit from some hyaluronic acid.
Next time you have a shower check what your skin looks like. If it looks more clear, more plump, more healthy then you’re probably dehydrated and could do with this product.
Water, Propanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Ahnfeltia Concinna Extract, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol.
Not in the ingredients:
mineral oil, propylene glycol, parabens, fragrance,
None that I can tell.
Squeezy tube. Foolproof.
How to use:
Use a tiny amount just before moisturiser. And you should follow this with a moisturiser or you won’t get the full benefit (see the website, and Caroline Hirons), apparently. I can confirm that this works best as a serum, not as the last thing on your skin. This is my go-to for when I’m hungover, been eating crap, been on the tube, ill. Cleanse, tone, serum, hydraluron, moisturiser.
£24.99 for 30ml. (buy on offer when you can). And bear in mind that a tiny bit goes a long way.
This is one of those products that I will probably always buy. It’s a proper skincare staple of mine. It uses the purest form of hyaluronic acid, and it’s very well priced for what it is. There’s no crap in it, it does what is says on the box – which is plump, glowy, soft, HYDRATED skin. This is the kind of product that works just as well in the short term as it does in the long term. Instantly gratifying, and no stickiness. If you have the audacity to drink, eat, go inside air conditioned buildings, have a face; then you need this.
Might be nice to have a 50ml, but that’s it.
Available from Boots, look fantastic, ASOS.
