I know I keep wanging on about this cleanser, but it feels worth a dedicated review since I’ve finished yet another tub.
Pixi are a British/American beauty brand, with global success. They are completely cruelty free, and very clear on their status as a non-animal testing brand. No other third parties test their products, and they have lots of vegan options. They are affordable, but their products contain quality ingredients. Their packaging is sleek but not unnecessarily heavy. You get no ‘fluff’ with them.
This is a dual sided cleanser. One side is a solid balm which acts as the first step of the double cleanse (removes makeup and SPF), and the other side is a cream cleanser which cleans the face.
Who can use it:
I would say all skins, because it’s so gentle. It is designed to suit everyone. And, it’s vegan.

Not in the ingredients:
parabens, mineral oil, shea butter, fragrance, no animal products at all.
Non leaking, airport friendly, cream sometimes transfers to other side – but doesn’t bother me. Not heavy, but sleek.
How to use:
Balm side for makeup removal in the evening, cream side to follow up. I would use either side in the morning.
£24 for 100ml
Extremely gentle, both sides work brilliantly. This is a product which just does what it says and is probably the most universal cleanser I have ever come across. The balm genuinely removes all the gunk – I test makeup removers on my brushes and this one worked. The cream is my favorite.
I get through the cream side a lot quicker than the balm, so as you would expect with a 2 in 1 product you will always end up carrying around a half empty pot. Pixi, PLEASE make separates – I will take vats of the cream.
Some of the reviews I’ve read complain that this is not a luxurious cleanser (there is no expensive luxurious scent, for example). I would say that that is the point. It is not trying to be luxe, it’s trying to be effective and universal – which it does.
Yes. I would tell anyone to give this a go. Unless you’ve already got loads of cleansers and don’t need another one……
I’ve already repurchased this, and probably will again.
